- A new patient exam in our office is about an hour-long appointment.
- Beginning the appointment, the doctor will go over your medical history and initiate his exam in order to address the root cause, not just where it hurts.
- If you have not had images recently, we will take them in the office at no additional cost. Those images are available for you to take with you and keep for your records. If you have had images recently the doctor would love to see the report of those images so we can avoid additional radiation.
- As long as the doctor does not see anything concerning during the evaluation which would prompt him to seek further imaging (MRI/CT), he will treat at that appointment.
- Once the appointment is over, the doctor will help you decide upon your next steps. A recommended treatment plan will be provided along with any “homework” the doctor feels will assist in you getting back to your best self as quickly as possible.
- Occasionally, the doctor will recommend therapy to assist in your rehabilitation. If recommended, Back In Motion has manual therapists on staff who will work in tandem with your doctor to maximize your recovery.
